It's not always easy being an Audi dealership serving Bedford MA, especially when people are curious about an upcoming Audi model and the best we can do is speculate. But that's where the Audi Nashua staff finds ourselves with regard to the 2020 Audi Q7.

2020 Audi Q7 Details

There's a reason we're left guessing. The new version of the 2020 Audi Q7 is likely to be different in some important respects than the one unleashed on Audi dealerships overseas.

That's not to say we're entirely in the dark. We do know that the 2020 version of this new Audi SUV comes with a mid-generation redesign that's meant to remind drivers that yes, you can take the Audi Q7 off-road. That means more pronounced body cladding and a few other touches meant to be as functional as they are attractive.

Other updates are likely to include a refreshed front fascia with a redesigned grille and matrix LED headlights, while new taillights round out the changes in the rear. The Audi SQ7 is likely to hand down its electromechanical roll stabilization. And while the base engine is likely to remain the same, a 48V mild hybrid system and at least one new engine (a V6 or V8) are probably on tap.

2020 Audi Q7 Safety and Special Features

The interior gets its share of updates as well, some carried over from the Audi Q8. Standard equipment should include the new MMI® touch response infotainment system, while the list of optional features will probably include an air ionizer and (naturally) a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, though we also expect these to be standard on the top trim.

Safety features will be augmented with Adaptive Cruise Assist (which combines active cruise control with lane keep assistance) alongside an emergency assist feature that stops the vehicle if it senses the driver is incapacitated and summons help.
