Automotive News Recognizes Lyon-Waugh Auto Group for Workplace Satisfaction

Company Has Five Auto Dealers on 2012 Best Dealerships To Work For List

PEABODY, Mass., - With its wide variety of luxury auto dealerships, the Lyon-Waugh Auto Group is constantly focused on satisfying New England car buyers, but the company was also recently recognized for giving an equal level of attention to its employees. Automotive News listed five Lyon-Waugh dealerships on its inaugural Best Dealerships To Work For list, including Acura of Peabody, Land Rover Peabody, MINI of Peabody, Audi of Nashua and Porsche of Nashua.

Honoring those car dealers that create a quality workplace for their employees, Automotive News' 2012 Best Dealerships To Work For list features the 100 highest-ranked showrooms in the United States. The industry publication partnered with Best Companies Group to measure workplace satisfaction by confidentially surveying employees and employers at dealerships that chose to enter the process.

"The ability to please customers starts with satisfied employees that love to do their job, so we strive to make sure that every employee at each of dealerships feels valued," said Warren Waugh, co-founder of the Lyon-Waugh Auto Group. Of the 100 top dealerships rated by Automotive News, Acura of Peabody, Land Rover Peabody and MINI of Peabody were the only representatives from Massachusetts, while Audi of Nashua and Porsche of Nashua were the lone honorees in New Hampshire. The 2012 Best Dealerships To Work For list appeared in the July 9 issue of Automotive News, and a state-by-state list can be viewed at http://www.autonews.com/Assets/html/bestdealerships/.

The rankings of the 2012 Best Dealerships To Work For list will be unveiled at a gala and awards dinner on Oct. 17 at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago, and the event will also include speakers from top-rated dealerships. Meanwhile, a special Oct. 22 section of Automotive News will outline the rankings and profile some of the dealerships' best practices for employee satisfaction.
